Utilizing the Gigapan panoramic camera system, images are taken in a large grid format and are later stitched together to create an incredibly large and highly detailed photograph. The process is similar to how NASA take highly detailed space imagery and looks incredible when back mounted to acrylic and displayed in the home or a corporate lobby. Other applications include direct printing to architectural glass or even large acoustic panels for video conferencing rooms. My work has even been diplayed in prison institutions as special wall paper. There are also several examples of my work in health care environments to encourage a sense of calm. People have often referred to the work as Jewelry for the wall.
